Welcome to the Euphoric Ataxia Project homepage.

Currently, the project is just getting back on its feet after being on an extended vacation. This
time around, we plan to actually work on the project, and we have a ton of great ideas!

EA is a brand new, written-from-scratch MUD engine written completely in Java,
which allows us to make it very extensible and organized (in theory, of course).

Because the project is still in basic planning stages, we don't have much done yet - however, we do
have a working engine an even come rudimentary building commands - but if you are interested, we most
defintely invite you to join the eaproject mailing lists, or monitor the forums. Please keep watching
the main SF site as well, found at http://sourceforge.net/projects/eaproject/, because we
are constantly changing and updating stuff there!

Also, if you are interested in checking out the code, it is always availble via anonymous CVS from our
SourceForge site, and since it is OpenSource, not only do we encourage you to download it, but we
hope that it interests you enough to want to work on it!

To get our source via anonymous CVS:

cvs -d:pserver:anonymous@cvs.eaproject.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/eaproject login
When asked for a password, simply hit ENTER, and then do:

cvs -z3 -d:pserver:anonymous@cvs.eaproject.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/eaproject co eapms
...making sure you are in the directory you want the source downloaded in.
